Hotel Information:
A block of guest rooms has been reserved at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel in Seattle, Washington. All conference sessions will be held in this hotel. Hotel guest rooms offer complimentary high-speed internet access, multi-line phones, and even come equipped with a Fairmont umbrella as your protection from Seattle rains. Guests have complimentary access to the hotel’s full service fitness center.
The Fairmont Olympic Hotel is ideally located in the heart of Seattle, footsteps from the city's most exciting attractions, including the famous Pike Place Market, Seattle Waterfront, and Space Needle, plus a multitude of museums, theatres, shops and restaurants.
Conference Rate:
The negotiated Single and Double Occupancy conference rate for hotel guest rooms is $190+ (this is the government rate plus 25%) per night. Occupancy tax in Seattle is currently at 15.6%.
PLEASE NOTE: All hotel rooms at the original conference rate of $190+ have sold out. However, we have taken out a second room block at the rate of $249+ (note that the regular hotel sell rate over these dates is currently at $369+, lowest available). Occupancy tax in Seattle is 15.6% (subject to change) .
To obtain this second room block rate of $249+, please make your reservations by calling the Hotel Reservations Department at 206-621-1700 x3131, or the Fairmont Global Reservations Center at 1-800-441-1414. We recommend that callers identify themselves as being with "SciDAC 2008 - Block #2".
